Anfonaf Angel

We were delighted to sing the beautiful Anfonaf Angel at our 10th Anniversary Gala concert in September. The Welsh lyrics describe a guardian angel being sent to guard and protect during life’s challenges and dark times - a shield, comforter and source of undying love. On 8th September, Queen Elizabeth II died after being our monarch for 70 years. Her steady and constant presence will be missed by so many and we dedicated this performance of Anfonaf Angel to her memory. A growing female choir based in Cardiff

Affinity has an exciting 2025 ahead - we've set ourselves a goal of completing 25 events in 2025 - a mix of performances, choir socials, workshops, tours and collaborations with other musicians. Follow us on social media to keep up to date with all of our events!

Affinity was founded in 2012 by our Musical Director, Diane Wright, and has now grown to a 55-person strong choir. We are currently preparing for a number of upcoming events including several performances in and around Cardiff and tours in the UK and abroad later in the year,. Tickets to public performances are available on our 'Performances' page.
